The bureau oversees the Traffic Management Center, Highway District, Traffic Operations District, and Traffic Enforcement District, along with several specialized units.
Highway District officers patrol Liberty City's highways, ensuring traffic safety and responding to vehicular accidents. They conduct investigations into collisions resulting in fatalities and perform duties such as sobriety tests, speed enforcement, and anti-terrorist checkpoints at key bridges and intersections. Additionally, the Highway Units serve as dignitary and ceremonial escorts.
The Traffic Management Center in Liberty City monitors traffic conditions using advanced technologies, coordinating responses to incidents and collaborating with various city and state agencies. This ensures a swift and effective resolution to traffic-related issues.
The Traffic Operations District focuses on designing, developing, and implementing strategies to enhance traffic flow, remove obstacles, and expedite vehicular movement within Liberty City. They also devise traffic control plans for special events and anticipated unusual conditions affecting traffic.
The Traffic Enforcement District enforces laws and regulations related to moving and parked vehicles in Liberty City.
